Quick Start

  1. Open Veilus — Launch the app after installation

  2. Create a Profile Click ”+ New Profile” in the profile manager. Give it a name like “Work Account 1”.

  3. Launch the Profile Click the ▶ Launch button. A new browser window opens with a unique identity.

  4. Verify Your Fingerprint Navigate to creepjs.com and check:

    • Trust Score shows a real-looking fingerprint
    • Each component has consistent values
    • No red flags or “bot” indicators
  5. Test on iphey.com Visit iphey.com — it should report “Real” browser with a green checkmark.

The Profile Manager is your home screen. It shows all your profiles in a grid or list view.

Each profile card shows:

ElementDescription
NameYour custom label
Status🟢 Running / ⚪ Stopped
OSWindows / macOS / Linux fingerprint
ProxyConnected proxy or “Direct”
Last usedTimestamp of last session
TagsColor-coded organizational tags

Right-click any profile for quick actions:

  • Launch / Stop — Start or stop the browser
  • Edit — Open profile settings
  • Duplicate — Copy with a new fingerprint
  • Export — Save as .veilus file
  • Delete — Remove profile and data

When you click Launch, Veilus:

  1. Loads the fingerprint — Canvas, WebGL, fonts, screen, etc.
  2. Applies proxy settings — If configured, routes traffic through the proxy
  3. Sets timezone — Auto-matched to proxy location (or manual setting)
  4. Restores session — Cookies, localStorage, and tabs from last session
  5. Opens the browser — A Chromium window with your unique identity

Each launched profile is fully isolated — cookies, cache, localStorage, IndexedDB, and even the GPU fingerprint are unique to that profile.

You can run multiple profiles simultaneously. Each one is a separate process with its own:

  • Memory space
  • Cookie jar
  • Network stack (proxy)
  • Fingerprint

Resource usage per profile:

  • ~100 MB RAM (idle)
  • ~200-300 MB RAM (active with multiple tabs)
  • Minimal CPU when idle (background throttling)
